SUREWiSE is made up of a large team of insurance professionals who all work together to protect our client’s and their assets. Throughout your interactions with our organisation, you probably won’t get to meet everyone so this is just one way we can introduce our team to you.
In this article, let’s get to know Leanne Stanbridge.
Leanne is a Claims Executive at SUREWiSE, working in our dedicated Claims Team. Leanne helps manage our client’s claims from start to finish, ensuring we get the insurance companies to pay claims as quickly as possible. It’s all about finding ways to get claims paid and negotiating the best possible outcome for the client.
Having worked in the general insurance industry for over 30 years, Leanne has not only been involved in claims management. Leanne has previously specialised in rural insurance, worked for an insurance company, for insurance brokerages and has specialised in providing insurance solutions for small to medium businesses.
Originally from Victoria, Leanne has also lived in Kingston South East, the Clare Valley and Mildura. She moved to Adelaide about five years ago.
Leanne’s two dogs are aged eight and two. The two spoodles named “Daisy” and “Molly” keep Leanne busy with regular walks along the beach. Leanne also enjoys yoga, pilates and spending time with family and friends.
Married to Craig, Leanne also has two children, Luke (27) and Emma (24).
The team at SUREWiSE know just how good a cook Leanne is too! Leanne always volunteers to make deserts for our team barbecues and for special office events. We love her turkish delight slice and her chocolate pudding from scratch. Leanne also enjoys cooking quality home cooked meals. Leanne’s favourite foods include Thai, Mexican and Greek. Yum – who else is hungry now?
Leanne has been involved in the local sports community, having previously coached junior and senior netball and basketball. Her favourite sport is netball and she has also played club tennis.
Travelling is of great interest to Leanne. She has the travel bug. A few places Leanne has visited include; New Zealand (North & South Islands); Thailand (Bangkok, Phuket; Koh Samui); Italy; the Greek Islands (Santorini and Paros), the Maldives; Sri Lanka; and Singapore. And later this year, she will be off to visit Spain, the South of France and Positano.
When asked, “Who would you want to be if you had the chance?”, Leanne replied, “Oprah Winfrey – because she is very giving, sensible and admirable with good grounding”.
Being with good company, good friends and having a good laugh makes Leanne happy. If she could escape anywhere in the world for a month, she would like to return to the Greek Islands.
Leanne enjoys the different challenges working in the SUREWiSE claims team. She enjoys helping others and achieving favourable outcomes for our clients. Leanne says there is nothing more satisfying than a client thanking her for her support and a job well done.
